Lara is a student in the 8th grade at a secondary school and chose to do a one-week internship at robos-labels. During the first week of June, she had the opportunity to explore our Marketing/Communications department, PrePress, and Order Management.

In this interview, Lara shares her very first experiences in a professional setting, the tasks she was able to take on, and the impressions she gathered in day-to-day operations. Her goal? To offer a behind-the-scenes look for other young people who are curious about doing an internship at robos-labels.

How do you like it at robos-labels?

I really enjoy being at robos-labels — the team is incredibly kind and welcoming.

What made you choose to do your internship here?

I already knew robos-labels because my dad works here. I’ve come across many of their labels before, and I’ve always been fascinated by their design and functionality.

Which departments did you get to know during your internship?

I mainly worked in Marketing/Communications, but I also got to experience the PrePress and Order Management departments.

What did you enjoy the most, and why?

What I enjoyed the most was getting to work on my own product idea — and I even got to decide what kind of product it would be. I chose shoes!

Were you able to work independently, or did you mostly observe?

I was able to work quite independently, which I found really exciting. It helped me improve my skills and learn so many new things.

Was there anything that surprised you?

Yes — the PrePress area surprised me! I didn’t know much about it before, and it turned out to be very different from what I expected.

Did the internship influence your career plans?

It didn’t change my plans — in fact, it made me even more confident in my choice. I’ve always wanted to do something in UX design, and now I find Marketing/Communications super interesting as well.

What advice would you give to future interns?

Take every chance to ask questions and get involved! That’s the best way to learn. And the people here are really nice — they’ll definitely help you if you need it.

Was there something you did that you’re particularly proud of?

Yes — I designed my very own shoe logo, which was a really exciting experience!
