Strike at UPM factories in Finland

The trade union of paper workers has issued a new strike warning prolonging the strike till March 12th, 2022, insofar new agreements will not be made earlier. This affects the raw material deliveries by UPM/Finland to their factories in other European countries. According to UPM, the delivery capacity will be further affected by the prolongation of the strike. Additionally, the strike aggravates the already since the beginning of 2021 tense and limited supply situation in the industry.
