Since Nov 01st, 2021 robos-labels is a member of “Einkaufskontor deutscher Druckereien” (EKDD), the purchasing cooperative for German enterprises in printing industry. The goal is to strengthen and to secure the own economic existence. The cooperative idea with a centuries-long tradition will be pursued.

Due to the collective purchasing by the cooperative, the acquisition of raw-, supportive and operating materials as well as the acquisition of services by members will be consolidated. This way considerable cost advantages for the printing companies can be achieved. The suppliers can focus on the technical consultations in the interest of the customer, because the price will be negotiated by EKDD centrally. The suppliers are fully insured against receivable risks by the centralized settlement. A win-win situation for printing companies and suppliers likewise.

The acquisition via the cooperative brings a significant competitive advantage. Due to the status of collective the ranking at the supplier’s improves and a preferential delivery takes place in case of material bottle necks. The plannability of material costs improves and the saving of purchasing costs will be made possible or the partially significant price increases will be mitigated.
