We are really happy to announce that we have joined the “United Nations Global Compact” initiative. This initiative is a voluntary leading platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.
The “UN Global Compact”, which was launched in 2000, is the biggest business sustainability initiative of the world, with more than 15 000 companies and 3000 non-corporate signatories worldwide in over 160 countries and more than 70 local networks.
Robos-labels is proud to join thousands of other global companies which advocate for the responsible business practice to create the world we all wish for.
The “UN Global Compact” is a worldwide appeal to companies to align their business activity and strategies with the ten generally accepted principles and substantiate them with annual measures. These include the areas of human rights, working conditions and equality, environmental and resource protection, as well as corruption fighting.
Within this frame we create a sustainable transformation not only with self-obligation and engagement to the “ten principles”, but also with the “17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” of the United Nations.
The annual progress report (CoP) allows us to identify and approach acting fields in the sustainability management and serves inter alia as an international benchmarking possibility.
“In line with our commitment to these principles, robos-labels is proud to be a member of this initiative. As this initiative is not in a position to check compliance with the standards comprehensively and to issue reminders in the event of non-compliance, we also cooperate with the independent corporate social responsibility consultancy EcoVadis, as well as with the Steinbeis Consulting Center for Resource Efficiency and Innovation.”
