Franziska and Emre are students of Friedrich-Schiller-Gymnasium in Ludwigsburg. On December 5th, 2023 they took part in a statewide campaign day with a subtitle “Working for a good cause”.
On this day, many young people worked for an employer of their choice. They waived their wages and donated the money to selected regional projects for a good cause. The project took place as part of religion and ethics lessons.
Everyone involved benefits from this project: the young people become active for society free of charge and strengthen their social competence. They also review their career future plans and practice job application situations. Employers have the opportunity to get to know motivated young people. The young people worked for at least four hours on this day, for which they were paid 5 euros or more respectively for a good cause.
Emre, who is 12 years old, liked it at robos-labels. He found it interesting to see how label printing works. It was new for him to work in a company for 8 hours straight. He was surprised by the modern laser punching system for labels from robos-labels. At the moment, his greatest career aspiration is to become an animal filmmaker.
