Chemicals- and solvent resistant labels for difficult surfaces
These labels satisfy the highest requirements in regard to resistance and secure adherence on demanding surfaces. Only high performance foils by brand manufacturers will be used. The resistance against mechanical and chemical load is paramount, like e.g. direct contact with strong detergents, disinfectors or solvents or cleaning processes over the whole product life cycle.
The chemicals- and solvent-resistant labels are available plain (without prints) or preprinted and can be subsequently inscribed with individual data at customer’s site directly. The labels will be manufactured for the customized requirements and applications.
The main features of labels with chemicals- and solvent resistance
- Very good adhesive power also on difficult substrates and hot surfaces
- High resistance outdoors and in contact with chemicals and solvents
- Resistance against recurring cleaning- and swiping processes
- High abrasion resistance with suitable thermal transfer ribbons for the thermal transfer printing
- Suitable for standard-compliant labeling like e.g. BS5609 section II and III
- Optimization of the processes by automation of material- and product flow by automated dispensing
Functions and advantages – precisely tailored to your requirements for the labeling with chemicals- and solvent resistant labels
The high performance labels will be adjusted individually to the customer’s requirements. This happens by using suitable special materials and premium adhesives by leading manufacturers.
The labels can be inscribed directly as required in variable amounts with current data at the site, by that the storage and the management of numerous labels may be reduced or dropped.
Some materials of products or transport containers for chemicals or solvents to be labeled can have a very rough or dusty or oily surface, which can be safely labeled with matching adhesives.
Our upscale and accurate processing with most modern die-cutting technologies guarantees the highest precision and reliability for the label application. Thus even labels with adhesives which are difficult to process can be processed mechanically very well, which increases the user efficiency in the long term.
Frequently Asked Questions
Industrial applications of chemicals- and solvent resistant labels
The typical labeling products in the area of these labels are type plates, warning labels, manuals, disposal instructions. The labels serve the product information as well as the safety of storage, handling and disposal of hazardous substances.
The labels can be applied for example in the following branches and areas on products, parts, machines and plants, on containers with solvents and chemicals for the end consumer and in the industry, on kegs, barrels and hazmat containers:
Branches:
- Medical technology (equipment, laboratory supplies)
- Chemical industry (labels with danger symbols/pictograms)
- Transport and logistics (open sea labeling in accordance with standard BS 5069, seawater resistant labels)
- Car manufacturing (warnings on tankers, labels on tank caps and in the engine compartment)
- Vehicle construction (warnings on tanks and containers in the area of goods transportation)
- Circuit board industry
Application:
- Adhesion onto outgassing substrates
- Charge carrier- and container labeling
- Labels for the barcode-controlled processes
Individual features of chemicals- and solvent resistant labels
For these high performance labels special foils come into action, which show extraordinary load tolerance and features. They withstand high temperatures, extreme temperature fluctuations, and prove themselves also under permanent influence of chemicals. In addition, laminates will be processed as a further protective barrier to preserve the prints against chemical and mechanical impacts in the long term.
Technical key data of our chemicals- and solvent resistant labels
