Laser labels with highest resistance for industrial use
The labels for laser engraving mostly consist of acrylate- or polyolefin-two layer foils and will be constructed from different color coatings. Here the top foil level is laser active, which means that it will be removed by the contact with the laser beam, and the foil of different color below becomes visible. This way mostly monochrome and very robust printing motif is created without any use of printing ink though.

Individual specificity of laser labels
A customized water mark can be built in the carrier on request to additionally increase the counterfeit protection. Here the adhesive glue is made of modified acrylate, which contains fluorescent substances and is especially suitable for low-energy surfaces. These fluorescent parts enter the surface which will be labeled and leave a trace visible under the UV light (“UV footprint”), which can be detected if manipulated and thus fulfils the requirements of the GB standard 25978 (China) and NHTSA para. 541.5 (USA).
With the corresponding laser hardware the colors black, red and blue can be inscribed with the speed of up to 4.000mm/s (yellow: ~ 1.000mm/s), thus a high flow-rate can be achieved.
