Labeling of small load carriers (slc)
The small load carriers (slc) often serve the intralogistics in middle and big companies and will be mostly moved by half- and fully automated transportation systems. The labeling of small load carriers takes place temporarily or permanently depending on the application.
A temporary labeling can be made with help of the so-called Kanban-cards, which will be interchangeably inserted at the side of the small load carriers. These cards don’t have any adhesives and can be delivered as rolled goods with perforations for the flexible subsequent inscription with thermal transfer printing at the site.
A further temporary solution is a kind of landing spot system. Here a label with a special surface grafting will be adhered permanently and enduring on the landing spot of the small load carrier. The temporary labeling happens with labels, which will be adhered to the landing spot label and due to the surface character of the label beneath can be removed without any problems.
A permanent labeling happens by a special slc label, which is equipped with a very strong adhesive and withstands even rough requirements as well as washing cycles in industrial slc cleaning facilities. The small load carriers are standardized in their size and will be mostly applied in the logistics of manufacturing technological branches. They provide information about the content and serve e.g. the identification in corporate equipping warehouses by encodings.
All products are available with data matrix codes, QR codes, barcodes, consecutive numeration, and perforations. The slc labels will be manufactured from robust materials and the imprint is resistant against abrasion, dirt and weather conditions.
