As a manufacturer of premium labeling, we are very proud that our commitment to sustainability has been awarded with the silver medal by EcoVadis. We are a family company with tradition and take responsibility for our employees, society and the environment, and not just since there are certifications for this. EcoVadis offers us a platform to evaluate, monitor and continue to develop our own sustainability practices. The awarding of a medal takes place as part of a ranking in comparison with all other evaluated companies. Robos-labels scored 67 out of 100 points, placing it in the top 11 percent of all 500 000 companies assessed.

Which topics does EcoVadis evaluate?

The EcoVadis assessment focuses on 21 criteria, which are divided into four subject areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

The exact criteria and weightings for EcoVadis ratings can vary by industry, but typically cover aspects such as environmental impact, social practices, ethical business practices and supply chain management. With the help of the results, robos-labels can continue to expand its efforts in the area of sustainability and position itself in the market as a responsible player. A separate position for Health, Safety & Environment has recently been created, which is held by Priya Jain.

What are the benefits of an EcoVadis award?

The independent EcoVadis rating is seen by customers, investors and other stakeholders as a benchmark for sustainability performance and demonstrates a commitment to social and ecological responsibility.

The importance of sustainability in business relationships is constantly growing and many companies are increasingly committed to reducing their negative environmental impact and acting in a socially responsible manner. Robos-labels also wants to offer their customers the best possible security in this area and meet high sustainability standards proactively.

What does the silver medal from EcoVadis stand for?

EcoVadis uses a rating system in which companies are classified and awarded a certificate. The results are presented in the form of scores and a rating. The EcoVadis ratings are based on a scale comprising four different performance levels: bronze, silver, gold and platinum.

Robos-labels was rated positively inter alia for quantitative targets for energy consumption & greenhouse gases, environmental guidelines for water, energy consumption and greenhouse gases, as well as for signing the “United Nations Global Compact”.
